Welcome to the Wilsden Badminton Club website

Our club is friendly and welcoming – if you are not an existing member then do please pay us a visit.

Non members are very welcome and we are sure you will enjoy both the badminton and the company.

Our objective is to provide badminton that can be enjoyed by casual players and more serious team standard members for those wishing to represent the club in mixed, men’s or ladies doubles leagues.

We combine playing badminton with an enjoyable social experience. There are not many occasions when at least some members do not visit local hostelries after club night or league matches! Social events are also arranged from time to time, enabling members and their guests to mix and enjoy themselves away from the badminton court.

Teams play in the Bradford and District Badminton League and for the 2009/10 season we have mixed teams in divisions 1, 4 and 5, ladies teams in division 1 and two teams in division 3 - the men’s teams play in divisions 3 and 4.

Home matches and club nights take place on Wednesday evenings. Away matches can be any night of the week according to each clubs venue arrangements.

We are always looking to welcome new members so if you are considering joining a local badminton club then please do give us a try – you can always come and play for a few weeks to see how you like us – we are sure you will enjoy the warm and friendly atmosphere.
